Egg Hunt!

Today I had fun going on an egg hunt. We went to the community center and we ran around collecting eggs (it was raining and cold out so they had it indoors). I didn't sit with the Easter Bunny because I was scared. I did give him a High 5, though. I also saw my friends Jonas and Alex there from our Mommy's group. We got to turn in our eggs for some treats and I got my face painted with a duckie on it. Can you see it on my cheek?

Colors & Opposites

I just wanted to let you all know how I am doing. My Great Aunt Kathy gave me this great book of fruit and vegetables made into shapes of things (it's my favorite book right now). Anyway, I can name all my colors and can tell you Little & Big, Up & Down, Happy & Sad, Hot & Cold, Whisper & Shout (shout is my favorite). Thanks for the book Aunt Kathy.

I can also pick out people in the family from the pictures mom shows me and I know their names. I can pick out and name Nana & Papa (all 4 of them), Uncle Cory, Aunt Shannon, Maddie, Great Aunt Linda, Auntie Shisha, Uncle Ryan and cousin Ryan.

I have started putting 2 words together as well. I say Mommy sit (on the floor I mean), Ivy eat, Daddy drink, water please, eat lunch, fall stairs, etc.

It won't be long before I am making sentences ( although I am almost 2, you know).

This last week has been so cold! The word Mommy has been using is Frigid. So, even in the house I have to stay bundled up because there is a draft in this house!



Wearing Mommy's scarf with my jammies keeps me nice and toasty. Otherwise, I freeze!


Maddie and I are headed to Grandma & Grandpa Garrity's for the Super Bowl and man do we have to get dressed up just to get in the already warmed up car! How many hats do we need!

Slumber Party

Tonight Maddie came over and we had dinner, took a bubble bath, read stories and played together. It was so fun!

Today we had our first snow of the season.

Yesterday I was getting into trouble all day and driving Mommy and Daddy crazy! I was touching things that weren't mine and Mommy kept saying NO so I gave her a dirty look! What a day!

Play Time With Maddie & Chloe

Today I went to my cousin Maddie's house to play. My Aunt Shannon was babysitting Maddie's other cousin (not related to me) Chloe. Maddie is 9 months old, Chloe is 11 months old and I am 17 months old. We made Aunt Shannon and Mommy run around like crazy people! We were into everything! Chloe had to go night-night, then Maddie didn't feel well so we had to leave. I had lunch and then went night-night for the first time without my pacifier! Mommy took it away! I did fine though and went right to sleep. After my nap we went to Target.

I also learned how to do the library storytime Choo-Choo song all by myself! I can say Dora's backpack, too! I am doing so well with my words!

Under the Weather

Since Wednesday I have been under the weather. Mom says it's because I have a double ear infection and I was running a fever. Too bad! I haven't been anywhere since Wednesday morning. Now I have a cough that has been keeping me up all night. I finally got some sleep Friday night, so I felt a little better on Saturday. Daddy is sick, too, so I am not the only one. Hopefully I will be better this week so Mommy can post some fun things we did and some pictures, too!
